Car
If you are driving from the Central Coast region, head towards the M1 Pacific Motorway. Take the exit toward Peats Ridge Road (Exit 33) and follow Peats Ridge Road for approximately 7 km. Turn left onto Wisemans Ferry Road and continue for about 5 km. Finally, turn right onto Ironbark Road, leading directly to the Ironbark picnic area. There is no parking fee, but make sure to check for any local signage for parking restrictions.
Public Transportation
To reach Ironbark picnic area via public transport, take a train from Central Coast to Gosford Station. From Gosford, you can catch a bus (Route 34) towards Peats Ridge. Get off at the Wisemans Ferry Road stop, and from there, it is about a 3 km walk to the picnic area. Ensure to check the bus schedule in advance as services may vary on weekends and public holidays.
Bicycle
