    Getting There

    Public Transport

    To reach Ocean Beach from Sydney, take a train on the CCN line to Woy Woy Station. From Woy Woy Station, several bus routes (50, 54, 55, 50/3, 55/3) will take you to Ocean Beach Road. Check the Transport NSW website for the most up-to-date timetables. A single adult Opal card fare from Woy Woy to Umina is around $2.80 - $3.50.

    Driving

    If driving from Sydney, take the M1 Pacific Motorway north. Exit at Woy Woy and follow the signs to Umina Beach. Parking is available at the public beachside car park and street side parking. Be aware that parking can be limited during peak season. Some areas have timed parking restrictions. Check local signs for details.

    Ferry

    Alternatively, a scenic ferry route is available from Palm Beach to Ettalong Wharf. From Ettalong Wharf, you can take a short bus ride (55) or a pleasant walk along the Esplanade to Ocean Beach. The ferry from Palm Beach to Wagstaffe takes 20 minutes, and then it's another 10 minutes from Wagstaffe to Ettalong. Adult fares are approximately $40.
