If you're traveling by car, head to the town of Lorne in Central Victoria. From Lorne, take Erskine Falls Road, which you will find at the eastern end of the main street. Follow this road for about 5 km, which will lead you directly to Erskine Falls Access Road. There are parking facilities available near the falls, and parking is generally free.
Public Transportation
To reach Erskine Falls using public transportation, you can take a bus from Melbourne to Lorne. The bus service operates several times a day. Once you arrive in Lorne, you will need to take a local taxi or rideshare service to reach Erskine Falls, as there is no direct public transport to the falls from the town. The taxi ride is approximately 10 minutes and will cost around AUD 20-30.
Walking
For those who enjoy hiking, you can also walk from Lorne to Erskine Falls. There is a walking trail that starts from the Lorne Visitor Centre and leads to the falls. The walk is approximately 3 km one way, and it takes about an hour to reach the falls. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and carry water, as the trail can be steep and may require some effort.
