Car
If you are driving, make your way to Melbourne by following the Calder Freeway (M79) from Central Victoria. As you approach Melbourne, follow signs for the M1 (Monash Freeway) towards the city center. Take the exit for Kings Way and continue onto Flinders Street. Fed Square is located at the intersection of Swanston Street and Flinders Street. Parking is available at nearby car parks, such as the Fed Square Car Park, which incurs a cost of approximately AUD 15-20 for a few hours.
Public Transportation
For public transport, catch a train from any station in Central Victoria to Southern Cross Station in Melbourne. Once at Southern Cross Station, transfer to the tram. Take tram number 35 (free tram zone) or tram number 1 or 8 heading towards the city. Get off at the 'Federation Square' stop. This journey may take about 1.5 to 2 hours depending on your start location and the waiting times for trains and trams.

If you arrive at the 'Federation Square' tram stop, you are just steps away from Fed Square. Simply walk towards the square, which is hard to miss due to its unique architecture and vibrant atmosphere. Follow the signs directing you to the main plaza.
