Car
From Melbourne, take the M1 (Princes Freeway) towards Geelong. Continue on the M1 until you reach the exit for the A1 towards Apollo Bay. Follow the A1 for approximately 130 km until you reach the town of Apollo Bay. From Apollo Bay, turn onto the B100 (Great Ocean Road) and follow the signs to Hopetoun Falls. The falls are located within Great Otway National Park, about 15 km from Apollo Bay. There is a parking area available near the falls for your convenience.

Start at Southern Cross Station in Melbourne. Take a V/Line train towards Warrnambool and get off at Colac Station. From Colac, you will need to catch a bus (check local schedules for availability) heading towards Apollo Bay. Once in Apollo Bay, you can take a taxi or rideshare service to Hopetoun Falls. Note that public transport options may be limited, so be sure to check schedules in advance.
