Car
From the center of Melbourne, take the Eastern Freeway (M3) towards Ringwood. Continue on the M3 until it merges with the Maroondah Highway (B300). Follow the Maroondah Highway and then take the exit for the Mt Dandenong Tourist Road. Continue on Mt Dandenong Tourist Road for about 10 km. The William Ricketts Sanctuary will be on your left at 1402 Mount Dandenong Tourist Rd, Mount Dandenong VIC 3767. There is free parking available on-site.
Public Transport (Train and Bus)
Take a train from Melbourne's Flinders Street Station on the Belgrave Line towards Belgrave. The journey takes approximately 1 hour. Get off at the Belgrave Station. From Belgrave Station, you can take the 688 bus towards Mount Dandenong. Make sure to check the bus timetable as services may vary. Get off at the stop closest to 1402 Mount Dandenong Tourist Rd (William Ricketts Sanctuary). The bus fare is approximately AUD 4.50 for a one-way trip.
Taxi or Rideshare
