Getting There

  • Car

    If you are traveling by car to Daintree Gateway, start from the nearest town, Mossman. Head north on Mossman-Daintree Road (State Route 48). Follow the signs for Daintree Village. After approximately 20 minutes, you will arrive at the Daintree Gateway. There is ample parking available. Please note that you may need to pay a fee for parking, so keep some cash handy.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach Daintree Gateway via public transportation, take the local bus service from Mossman to Daintree Village. The bus typically departs every hour, and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Check the local bus schedule for exact times. Once you arrive at Daintree Village, Daintree Gateway is within walking distance. Follow the signs towards the ferry, which will guide you directly to the Gateway.

  • Ferry

    If you are coming from the south side of the Daintree River, you will need to take the Daintree Ferry to reach Daintree Gateway. The ferry operates continuously from 5:00 AM to 12:00 AM, and there is a fee of approximately AUD 30 for a car and its passengers. Once you have crossed the river, continue straight on the Daintree Road until you reach Daintree Gateway.
