Public Bus
From the center of Port Douglas, head to the main bus stop located on Macrossan Street. Look for the 'Daintree Bus Service' which operates regular services to the Daintree Discovery Centre. Purchase a ticket from the driver. The bus will take you on a scenic route through the rainforest. Make sure to inform the driver you want to get off at the Daintree Discovery Centre stop.

Many local tour operators offer shuttle services to the Daintree Discovery Centre. You can book a tour that includes transportation from your accommodation in Port Douglas. Check with your hotel’s front desk or nearby tour agencies on Macrossan Street for options. The shuttle will pick you up at your hotel and take you directly to the Centre.

Bicycle Rental
For an adventurous option, rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Port Douglas, such as 'Port Douglas Bike Hire' on Macrossan Street. Follow Port Douglas Road north until you reach Cape Tribulation Road. Turn left onto Cape Tribulation Road and continue for approximately 20 kilometers. Follow the signs to the Daintree Discovery Centre. Be prepared for some inclines and ensure you have plenty of water and sun protection.
