    Janbal Gallery is located at 5 Johnston Rd, Mossman. From Port Douglas, drive north on the Captain Cook Highway, then turn left onto Johnston Road in Mossman. The gallery will be on your left. Parking is available on the street.

    From Port Douglas, take the Trans North Bus & Coach towards Mossman. Alight at the Mossman Bus Station, which is a short walk to Johnston Road. Walk east along Johnston Road, and the gallery will be on your left. A single bus fare is approximately $5-$7.

    From the centre of Mossman, walk east along Front Street, then turn left onto Johnston Road. The gallery will be on your left. The walk is generally flat and takes about 5-10 minutes.

The gallery is named after Binna's mother, Shirley 'Janbal' Swindley, also an acclaimed Aboriginal artist. 'Janbal' means Blue Quandon, a rare blue rainforest fruit. At Janbal Gallery, you can browse authentic Aboriginal artwork and participate in art workshops. Brian 'Binna' Swindley welcomes visitors to share his passion for art and culture through private and group painting workshops.
