Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, start your journey in the Daintree Rainforest area. Head north on the Daintree River Ferry Road towards the Daintree River. Take the ferry across the river, which operates daily and costs about AUD 30 for a vehicle. Once you reach the other side, continue on Cape Tribulation Road (also known as the Bloomfield Track) for approximately 30 minutes. Look for the sign for Cape Trib Farm, located at 3939 Cape Tribulation Rd, Cape Tribulation QLD 4873. The farm is on your left-hand side. Ensure you drive cautiously as the road may have wildlife and is winding in some areas.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, you can take a bus from Port Douglas to Cape Tribulation. Look for the Daintree Explorer bus service, which operates daily and costs around AUD 45 one way. The bus will take you through the beautiful scenery of the Daintree National Park. Inform the driver that you want to stop at Cape Trib Farm, which is located at 3939 Cape Tribulation Rd. If you're traveling from Cairns, you will need to take a bus to Port Douglas first, and then transfer to the Daintree Explorer. It's advisable to check the bus schedule ahead of time for the latest timings and availability.

• Bike

  If you're feeling adventurous and want to explore the area by bike, you can rent a bicycle in the Daintree Rainforest region. Starting from the Daintree Discovery Centre, head north on Cape Tribulation Road. The ride to Cape Trib Farm is approximately 20 kilometers and can take around 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on your pace. Make sure to wear appropriate gear and bring plenty of water and snacks, as the road has limited facilities. Watch out for wildlife along the road, and be cautious of the traffic, especially during busy periods.
