Driving
To reach Queen Mary Falls from Brisbane, drive southwest via Beaudesert and Boonah. From Boonah, continue southwest on the Boonah-Rathdowney Road, Carneys Creek Road, and Head Road. The drive is approximately 120 km and takes around 2 hours. From the west, drive 8km east of Killarney via Spring Creek Road. Parking is available at the Queen Mary Falls picnic area. Be aware that the approach from Boonah is steep and unsuitable for caravans. There are no parking fees.
Walking
From the Queen Mary Falls picnic area, the Queen Mary Falls Circuit begins. Follow the well-maintained 2km track through eucalypt forest and rainforest to reach the falls. The circuit takes approximately 40 minutes to complete. Take the middle entrance labeled Cliffs Circuit for the best views. Walking the circuit in a clockwise direction is recommended for an easier climb. There are no fees associated with walking the circuit.
