Getting There

    To reach Underground Creek, drive to Girraween National Park via the New England Highway, turning onto Pyramids Road. Follow Pyramids Road to the park's visitor information center. Continue 4km along the all-weather road to the Dr Roberts car park, the starting point for the Underground Creek track. Parking is free. Note that the visitor information center is currently closed for upgrades until June 30, 2025.

    From the Dr Roberts car park, the Underground Creek track is well signposted. Follow the trail for 2.8km, passing through swamp communities, woodland and shrubland. The path leads to the area where Bald Rock Creek disappears beneath the boulders. Allow 1 to 1.5 hours for the return trip.
