If you're driving, start from Victor Harbor, head east on Ocean Street towards Port Elliot. Follow the signs to Port Elliot, which is approximately a 15-minute drive (12 km). Once in Port Elliot, turn left onto The Strand. Follow this road until you reach the end where you will find Crockery Bay. There is limited parking available near the beach, so be prepared to walk a short distance if the parking area is full.
Public Transportation
For those using public transport, catch the bus from Adelaide to Victor Harbor, which takes about 1.5 hours. Once in Victor Harbor, transfer to the local bus service (Bus 784) towards Port Elliot. The bus ride to Port Elliot will take around 15 minutes. Disembark at the Port Elliot stop and walk to The Strand. Continue on The Strand until you reach Crockery Bay. Be sure to check the bus schedules as they may vary, and plan accordingly.
Walking
If you are already in Port Elliot, you can walk to Crockery Bay. Start at the Port Elliot town center and head south towards The Strand. The walk is approximately 1.5 km and takes about 20-25 minutes, providing a lovely view of the coastline along the way. Follow The Strand directly to the beach area.
