From the Victor Harbor Visitor Information Centre, walk east along the Esplanade towards the causeway. The walk is approximately 1.5km and takes around 20 minutes. Once at the causeway, you can either walk across to Granite Island or take the horse-drawn tram. Walking across the causeway is free.

From Adelaide, take the Premier Stateliner bus to Victor Harbor. Alight at the Victor Harbor Interchange, which is a short walk to the Esplanade. From there, walk east along the Esplanade towards the causeway. The walk is approximately 1.5km and takes around 20 minutes. Once at the causeway, you can either walk across to Granite Island or take the horse-drawn tram. A one-way bus fare from Adelaide to Victor Harbor costs approximately $25-$35 AUD. Walking across the causeway is free.

The horse-drawn tram departs from the mainland end of the causeway and takes you across to Granite Island. A one-way fare is $12 AUD for adults and $8 AUD for children. Return fares are also available.
