    Getting There

    Driving

    From Hawker, take Wilpena Road approximately 1 km east. Turn right onto the unsealed road signposted 'Desalination Plant'. Continue on this road to the top of the hill. Park at the top of the hill and pass through the access gate on your right. Follow the track towards Castle Rock. Note that the road is unsealed and may be impassable after rain; avoid Yednalue Drive.

    Walking

    From the Hawker Visitor Information Centre, walk east along Wilpena Road for approximately 1 km. Turn right onto the unsealed road. Follow the road to the top of the hill (approx 1km), then pass through the access gate on your right and proceed along the track towards Castle Rock. Allow approximately 30 minutes for the walk from Hawker.
