If you are starting from the town of Wilpena Pound, head northwest on Wilpena Road towards the Flinders Ranges Way. After approximately 6 km, turn right onto Flinders Ranges Way. Continue on Flinders Ranges Way for about 20 km until you reach Hucks Lookout, which is located on your left. There is a designated parking area where you can leave your car to enjoy the scenic views.
Car
From the town of Hawker, head south on the Main North Road (A1). After about 23 km, turn left onto Flinders Ranges Way. Continue along Flinders Ranges Way for approximately 35 km until you see Hucks Lookout on your right. There is parking available for visitors.
Public Transportation
While public transportation options are limited in the Flinders Ranges, you can take a coach service from Adelaide to Hawker. Upon arrival in Hawker, you can either hire a car or arrange for a local taxi service to get to Hucks Lookout. The distance from Hawker to Hucks Lookout is about 35 km, so ensure you coordinate the transport accordingly.
