If you are driving from Hervey Bay, head southwest on Boat Harbour Drive towards Main Street. Continue on Boat Harbour Drive for about 5 kilometers. Turn left onto the Maryborough-Hervey Bay Road (A1) and continue for approximately 15 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Mungar Road. Turn left onto Mungar Road, and after about 1 kilometer, the Fraser Coast Wildlife Sanctuary will be on your left at 31 Mungar Rd, Oakhurst. There is free parking available on-site.
