From any location in Fraser Island, you will need to make your way to the ferry terminal at River Heads. If you're staying on the island, drive to the eastern beach and head towards the ferry terminal. Once at River Heads, take the ferry to Fraser Island. The ferry costs approximately AUD 160 for a standard vehicle for a return trip. After arriving at the island, follow the signs to the main access road (Fraser Island Road). Continue on this road for about 18 km until you reach the Torquay area. Nielsens Park is located at Torquay QLD 4655. Look for signs indicating the park's entrance.
