Car
If you're driving, head towards Urangan from your current location on Fraser Island. From Kingfisher Bay or other resort locations, take the ferry back to River Heads. Once you arrive in River Heads, turn left onto River Heads Road and continue straight until you reach the intersection with the Bruce Highway (A1). Take the highway south towards Hervey Bay. Follow signs for Urangan. In Urangan, turn left onto Pulgul Street. Continue until you reach Dayman Park where the Reef World Aquarium is located at the corner of Kent and Pulgul Streets. There is usually parking available nearby.
Public Transportation
Using public transport, you can catch a bus from your location on Fraser Island to Hervey Bay. Look for the bus service that heads to Urangan. Once in Urangan, disembark at the nearest stop to Dayman Park. From there, it’s a short walk to the Reef World Aquarium located at the corner of Kent and Pulgul Streets. Be sure to check the bus schedule for timings, and keep in mind that a ticket may cost around AUD 5-10 depending on your starting point.
Ferry
If you are on Fraser Island, take the ferry from either Kingfisher Bay or the southern part of the island back to River Heads. The ferry ride typically costs around AUD 30-40 per person. Once you arrive at River Heads, follow the driving instructions provided for reaching Urangan and the Reef World Aquarium.
