From Melbourne, take the M1 freeway towards Gippsland. Continue on the M1 until you reach the Bairnsdale exit (Exit 13). Follow the signs towards Bairnsdale. Once in Bairnsdale, turn onto the Princes Highway (A1) heading east. Continue on the Princes Highway for about 40 kilometers. Turn left onto the Gelantipy Road and follow it until you reach the Club Terrace area. Once in Club Terrace, follow the local road signs to Bemm River Scenic Reserve. Parking is available at the reserve, and there are no entry fees.

Take a V/Line train from Southern Cross Station in Melbourne to Bairnsdale. The journey takes approximately 3.5 hours. From Bairnsdale, take a V/Line bus service towards Orbost.
