If you're driving from the town of Traralgon, head east on the Princes Highway (A1) for approximately 24 km. Take the exit onto the Strzelecki Highway (B460) and follow it for about 19 km until you reach the town of Mirboo North. From Mirboo North, continue on the Strzelecki Highway (B460) until you reach Grand Ridge. Turn left onto Morwell River Road, and follow this road for about 8 km. The Morwell River Falls Reserve will be on your left. There are no entry fees to the reserve.

To reach Morwell River Falls Reserve using public transport, start by taking a V/Line train from Melbourne to Traralgon. The journey takes approximately 2 hours. Once you arrive in Traralgon, you can take a local bus to Mirboo North. Check the local bus schedule for times. Once in Mirboo North, you will need to arrange a taxi or rideshare service to take you to Morwell River Rd, Grand Ridge, as public transport options are limited in this area. The taxi ride will take about 20 minutes and may cost around AUD 40-50.
