As you approach Traralgon, merge onto the Princes Highway (A1) heading east towards Bairnsdale. Continue on the Princes Highway for approximately 150 km. Once you reach Bairnsdale, follow the signs for Lakes Entrance, which is about 30 km from Bairnsdale. Upon entering Lakes Entrance, drive along the Esplanade until you reach Step Into Gippsland, located directly on the Esplanade at the address Esplanade, Lakes Entrance VIC 3909. There is free parking available along the Esplanade.

    For those using public transportation, take a V/Line train from Southern Cross Station in Melbourne to Bairnsdale. The train service runs several times a day, and the journey takes approximately 3.5 hours. Once you arrive at Bairnsdale Station, transfer to a local bus service that operates to Lakes Entrance. The bus ride will take about 30 minutes. Upon reaching Lakes Entrance, disembark at a stop near the Esplanade, and Step Into Gippsland will be within walking distance. Be sure to check the V/Line website for the latest schedules and ticket prices, as fares may vary.
