Bus
If you're starting from Surfers Paradise, head to the nearest bus stop on Surfers Paradise Boulevard. Catch the '703' bus towards Tweed Heads. The journey will take approximately 20 minutes. Get off at the 'Gold Coast Highway at Broadbeach North' stop. From there, walk east for about 10 minutes along the Broadbeach and you will reach Gold Coast beach.
Tram
If you are near Cavill Avenue in Surfers Paradise, walk to the nearest tram station, which is 'Cavill Avenue'. Board the G:Link tram heading south towards Broadbeach South. The ride will take about 10 minutes. Get off at the 'Broadbeach South' stop. From there, it's a short 5-minute walk heading east to reach Gold Coast beach.
Walking
If you are already in the vicinity of the beach, simply navigate your way to the coastline. From the central Surfers Paradise area, head towards the beach by walking east down any of the main streets like Ferny Avenue. Follow the pedestrian paths until you hit the beach. The sandy shores of Gold Coast beach will be right in front of you.
Bike
For those who enjoy cycling, you can rent a bike from various rental shops in Surfers Paradise. Head towards the Gold Coast Oceanway, which is a dedicated bike path. Follow the path that runs along the coast, and you will reach Gold Coast beach in about 15-20 minutes of enjoyable cycling.
