Car
From the center of Falls Creek, head southeast on Bogong High Plains Road. Continue straight for approximately 5.5 km. You will pass the Falls Creek Ski Lifts on your right. Look for a sign indicating Mount Cope. Turn right onto Mount Cope Road, which is a dirt road. Drive for about 3 km. You will reach a parking area at the base of Mount Cope. Note that some sections of Mount Cope Road may require a 4WD vehicle depending on weather conditions.
Public Transportation
Take a bus from Albury or Melbourne to Falls Creek. Bus services like V/Line operate this route. Once you reach Falls Creek, you will need to hire a taxi or shuttle service to Mount Cope, as there is no public transport directly to the mountain. Make sure to pre-book your taxi or shuttle, as they may not be readily available in the area.
Hiking
If you are already in Falls Creek and prefer to hike, you can start from the village. Follow the marked hiking trail from the village towards Mount Cope. The hike is approximately 6 km one way and will take around 1.5 to 2 hours depending on your fitness level. The trail is well-marked, but be sure to carry water and wear appropriate hiking shoes.
