If you're traveling by car, start from the town of Wangaratta. Take the Hume Highway (M31) heading northeast. After about 30 kilometers, take the exit toward the Great Alpine Road (B500). Continue on the Great Alpine Road for approximately 45 kilometers until you reach the town of Cheshunt. From Cheshunt, turn onto Paradise Falls Road. The falls are about 12 kilometers down this road. Be sure to check road conditions as they can vary, especially in winter.
Public Transportation
If you prefer public transport, take a train from Melbourne to Wangaratta, which usually takes about 2.5 hours. Once in Wangaratta, you will need to catch a bus to Cheshunt. Please check the local bus schedules in advance, as they may not run frequently. After arriving in Cheshunt, you can either walk the remaining 12 kilometers to Paradise Falls or consider arranging a taxi for the last leg of your journey. Be prepared for costs associated with the taxi fare.
