If you're driving, start by heading towards the town of Wangaratta. From Wangaratta, take the Hume Freeway (M31) towards Melbourne. After approximately 20 km, take the exit toward Wangaratta - Beechworth Road (B500). Follow this road for about 30 km until you reach Beechworth. Once in Beechworth, continue on the Beechworth - Murmungee Road (C315) for about 14 km. Turn left onto Lady Newton Drive, where you'll find signs directing you to Murmungee Lookout. Parking is available near the lookout area.

To reach Murmungee Lookout via public transport, take a train to Wangaratta Station. From Wangaratta, catch a local bus to Beechworth.
