From your location in High Country, you will need to drive towards Alice Springs first. Take the Stuart Highway (A87) northbound for approximately 1000 kilometers. Once you reach Alice Springs, continue on Larapinta Drive, which will lead you to Finke Gorge National Park. The turnoff to Palm Valley is well-marked. Drive approximately 20 kilometers on the unsealed road to reach Palm Valley. Please note that a 4WD vehicle is recommended for this section due to rough terrain.
