Car
If you are driving, start by heading towards Cape Woolamai from your location in High Country. Use the M1 highway to travel towards Phillip Island. Once you reach the island, continue on the Phillip Island Road until you reach the intersection with Woolamai Beach Road. Turn onto Woolamai Beach Road and follow the signs towards Cape Woolamai. The road will lead you directly to the Pinnacles Lookout, which is located at the end of Cape Woolamai. There is ample parking available near the lookout.
Public Transportation
For those using public transport, first take a train from Melbourne to the nearest station at Cowes. From Cowes, you can catch a local bus that goes to Cape Woolamai. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as services may be limited. Once you arrive at the bus stop in Cape Woolamai, it’s about a 20-minute walk to Pinnacles Lookout. Follow the signs towards Cape Woolamai and then take Cape Woolamai Road until you reach the lookout. Be prepared for some uphill walking.
Walking
If you are already in Cape Woolamai, and prefer to walk, you can reach Pinnacles Lookout from the main residential area. From the Cape Woolamai Beach, take the walking trails that lead up towards the cliffs. The walk is approximately 2 kilometers and may take about 30-40 minutes. The trail is well-marked, and you will be rewarded with stunning views along the way.
