Car
If you're traveling by car, start from the town of Wangaratta in the High Country region. Head south on the Hume Highway (M31) towards Melbourne. After approximately 60 km, take the exit for the Midland Highway (A300) towards Benalla. Continue on the A300 for about 50 km until you reach the town of Benalla. From Benalla, take the Goulburn Valley Highway (A39) towards Shepparton. Once you reach Shepparton, follow the signs for the Goulburn Valley Highway (A39) heading towards Seymour. Continue on the A39 for approximately 80 km until you reach the town of Seymour, then take the Hume Freeway (M31) towards Melbourne. After about 20 km, take the exit for the Northern Highway (A79) towards Echuca. Follow the A79 until you reach the town of Williamstown. Turn onto Whispering Wall Rd, and you will find Whispering Wall at the end of the road. Make sure to check your fuel levels as this route may take some time.
Public Transportation
For those using public transport, you can start your journey from Wangaratta. Take a V/Line train from Wangaratta to Melbourne. Once you reach Southern Cross Station in Melbourne, transfer to a train heading towards Seymour. After reaching Seymour, you will need to switch to a bus service that goes to Williamstown. The bus services are limited, so it's advisable to check the current schedule in advance. Once you arrive in Williamstown, follow signs to Whispering Wall Rd. It is approximately a 15-minute walk from the bus stop to the Whispering Wall. Ensure to check the bus and train schedules beforehand to minimize waiting times.
