Home Hill Winery is located at 38 Nairn Rd, Ranelagh. From Ranelagh, follow the signs towards the Huon Trail. The winery is a short drive from the town center. Parking is available on-site. There are no toll roads in the immediate vicinity.

From Hobart, take the Tassielink Transit bus 716 towards Huonville. Alight at Huon Hwy near Ranelagh. From there, it's approximately a 20-minute walk (1.6km) to Home Hill Winery along a mostly flat route via the Huon Highway and then turning onto Nairn Road. The bus fare from Hobart to Ranelagh is approximately $8 - $10.

Taxi or Uber services are available from Hobart and Ranelagh. A taxi from Hobart to Home Hill Winery will cost approximately $80 - $100 and take around 30 minutes. From Ranelagh, a short taxi ride to the winery will cost approximately $20.
