If you're starting from Kingscote, take the bus service towards Cygnet River. The bus will drop you at the nearest stop to the vineyard. From there, walk along Cygnet River Road until you reach Gum Creek Road. Turn right onto Gum Creek Road, and you will find The Islander Estate Vineyards on your left at number 78.

Starting from Penneshaw, you can rent a bicycle and ride towards Cygnet River. Take the Main South Road heading north. After about 15 kilometers, turn left onto Cygnet River Road. Follow this road until you reach Gum Creek Road, then turn right. The vineyard will be a short distance ahead on your left at 78 Gum Creek Rd.
