Getting There

• Public Bus

  If you are in Kingscote, you can take the Kangaroo Island bus service. Head to the nearest bus stop on Dauncey Street, which is about a 5-minute walk from the Kingscote Visitor Information Centre. Board the bus heading towards Penneshaw and inform the driver you want to stop at Bay of Shoals Wines. The winery is about a 15-minute ride from the stop. Once you get off, walk about 500 meters down Cordes Road, and you will see the winery on your left.

• Bicycle Hire

  For a more active approach, you can rent a bicycle from a local shop in Kingscote. Head to the 'Kangaroo Island Bicycle Hire' located on Murray Street. After renting a bike, follow Murray Street until you reach Dauncey Street, then take a left. Continue on Dauncey Street until you reach the intersection with Cordes Road. Turn right onto Cordes Road and follow it for about 1.5 kilometers. Bay of Shoals Wines will be on your right.

• Taxi

  For a direct route, you can take a taxi from anywhere in Kingscote. Call a local taxi service, such as 'Kangaroo Island Taxi' at +61 8 8553 2181. Provide them with your current location and ask to be taken to Bay of Shoals Wines at 49 Cordes Rd. The drive will take about 5-10 minutes depending on traffic.

• Walking

  If you are staying in Kingscote and are up for a walk, you can reach Bay of Shoals Wines on foot. Start from the Kingscote Jetty and walk along the coast towards Dauncey Street. Once you reach Dauncey Street, turn right and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Cordes Road. Turn left onto Cordes Road and walk for about 1.5 kilometers. The winery will be on your right. This walk will take approximately 30-40 minutes.
