Getting There

• Public Transport - Tram

  If you're starting from the Melbourne CBD, head to the nearest tram stop. You can catch the number 75 or 19 tram from Elizabeth Street or Collins Street. Board the tram and travel towards the 'Southern Cross Station.' Get off at the 'Flinders Street Station' stop. Once you disembark, walk towards the Yarra River, and you will see Birrarung Marr directly across from the station.

  From any station in the Melbourne metropolitan area, take a train to Flinders Street Station. Once you arrive at Flinders Street Station, exit onto Flinders Street and walk towards the Yarra River. Birrarung Marr is just a short walk across the street, easily visible from the station.

• Walking

  If you are already in the vicinity of the Yarra River, simply head towards the riverbank. Follow the river walking path. You will see Birrarung Marr park located along the river, just a short walk away. Look for the large open space and the iconic 'Federation Bells' as a landmark.

  If you prefer cycling, you can use Melbourne's bike share program. Find a bike station near you and rent a bike. Head towards the city center and follow the bike paths along the Yarra River. Birrarung Marr is easily accessible via the bike paths, with designated areas for bike parking available at the park entrance.
