Train
From Melbourne's Flinders Street Station, take the train on the Hurstbridge line towards Hurstbridge. You will need to get off at the last stop, Hurstbridge Station. The journey takes approximately 50 minutes. Once at Hurstbridge, exit the station and look for the bus stop nearby.
Bus
From Hurstbridge Station, board the bus number 685 towards Kinglake. The bus ride will take about 30 minutes. You should get off at the stop 'Masons Falls Rd' which is close to Kinglake National Park. The bus will drop you off near the entrance to the park, where you can start your exploration.
Walking
Once you arrive at the bus stop on Masons Falls Rd, you can walk into Kinglake National Park. Follow the signs that lead you to the main entry point of the park. The area is well-marked, and the walk from the bus stop to the park entrance is about 5 minutes.
