Public Transport
From Melbourne's CBD, take tram line 109 towards Port Melbourne. Alight at the Beacon Cove/Light Rail stop. From there, it's a short 4-minute walk to Port Melbourne Beach. A single fare on public transport costs around $5. Alternatively, several bus routes also service the area, including routes 234, 235, 236 and 606.
Walking
From Station Pier, walk east along Beach Street. The beach is located a short distance away, approximately a 5-10 minute walk. Enjoy the views of Port Phillip Bay as you stroll along the foreshore.
Driving
From Melbourne's CBD, head southwest towards Port Melbourne. Follow the signs to Beach Street. Limited parking is available along Beach Street and surrounding areas. Parking fees vary, with some free 2P parking available and ticketed parking options. A foreshore parking permit allows residents to park for free in designated areas. Beaconsfield Parade also has parking available. Parking costs approximately $4-$6 per hour.
