    From the city center, head to a tram stop on Collins Street and catch the Route 109 tram towards Port Melbourne. Stay on the tram for about 30 minutes until you reach the stop at 'Bay Street/Williamstown Road.' From there, walk south along Bay Street for about 10 minutes until you reach the waterfront. Turn left on the waterfront path and continue walking until you arrive at Princes Pier.

    Start at Flinders Street Station and take the Sandringham Line train towards Sandringham. Get off at the last stop, Sandringham Station. From Sandringham Station, you can take bus number 600 or 922 towards Port Melbourne. Get off at 'Pier Street' stop, which is a short walk from Princes Pier.

    If you are near the city, take bus number 234 from the city (Elizabeth Street) towards the Port Melbourne route. After about 35 minutes, get off at the 'Bay Street/Stevedore Street' bus stop. From there, walk east along Stevedore Street, then take a left onto Pier Street. Follow Pier Street straight to reach Princes Pier.
