From the Melbourne CBD, head to the nearest tram stop and take Tram Line 96 towards St Kilda. Ride for approximately 20 minutes until you reach the stop at 'North Port'. From there, walk about 10 minutes towards the waterfront along Bay Street, then continue onto Pier Street where you will find Princes Pier.

Take a train from Flinders Street Station to Port Melbourne Station on the Sandringham Line. Once you arrive at Port Melbourne Station, exit the station and walk east along Graham Street towards the waterfront. Continue walking until you reach the end of Pier Street, where Princes Pier is located.

Catch the bus number 234 or 236 from the nearest bus stop in the city center to Port Melbourne. You can board these buses at stops near Flinders Street Station.
