To get to Sandringham Beach from Melbourne's city center, head to Flinders Street Station. Take the Frankston line train towards Sandringham. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Sandringham Station, exit the station and head left onto Station Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Beach Road. Turn right onto Beach Road and follow it for about 10 minutes until you reach Sandringham Beach.

From the city center, you can also take a bus to Sandringham Beach. Head to the Southern Cross Station and find the bus stop for the 600 or 922 bus routes. Board the bus heading towards Sandringham. The bus ride takes approximately 40 minutes. Get off at the stop closest to the beach, usually on Beach Road. From there, walk a short distance towards the beach.

You can take a tram from the CBD to Sandringham Beach, though it will require some walking. Take tram number 96 from Bourke Street towards St Kilda.
