If you are in the area of Fitzroy Gardens, you can walk to St Patrick's Cathedral. Exit the gardens and head towards Albert Street. Walk down Albert Street until you reach Victoria Parade, then turn left. Continue on Victoria Parade until you reach Cathedral Place, and then turn right. St Patrick's Cathedral will be located at 1 Cathedral Pl, East Melbourne.
Bus
If you are near a bus stop, check for buses heading towards 'East Melbourne'. Take a bus that stops at 'Wellington Parade South'. After getting off, walk towards the intersection of Wellington Parade and Victoria Parade. Turn left onto Victoria Parade and walk until you reach Cathedral Place. Turn right onto Cathedral Place, and you will find St Patrick's Cathedral at the end of the street.
