    From Melbourne CBD, head to the nearest tram stop on Swanston Street. Take tram number 96 (to St Kilda) or tram number 16 (to Kew). Stay on the tram until you reach the Stop 30 - St Kilda Junction, which takes approximately 25 minutes. Once you disembark, walk towards St Kilda Beach and follow the signs to the Solar System Trail.

    Start at Flinders Street Station in the CBD. Board a train on the Sandringham line towards Sandringham. Get off at the Brighton Beach Station, which takes about 20 minutes.
