From the city center, make your way to the nearest tram stop and catch the 109 tram towards Port Melbourne. Stay on the tram for about 30 minutes. Get off at the stop called 'Bay Street/Station Street'. From there, walk down Bay Street towards the water. Continue walking until you reach Wharf Road. Turn left onto Wharf Road, and Westgate Park will be just a short walk down the road on your right.
Bus
Locate the nearest bus stop that services routes to Port Melbourne. You can take the 235 bus from the city (Flinders Street Station) heading towards Port Melbourne. After approximately 25 minutes, get off at the stop on Wharf Road. Once you get off, Westgate Park will be directly in front of you.

Follow the bike path along the Yarra River, and then continue towards the coast. After about 30-40 minutes of cycling, you will reach Wharf Road, where you can find Westgate Park.
