Getting There

  • Train

    From Melbourne's Southern Cross Station, take the train on the Werribee Line. Trains depart regularly, approximately every 20 minutes. Stay on the train for about 30 minutes and disembark at Williamstown Station. Once you arrive at Williamstown Station, exit the station and walk straight down Kororoit Creek Road for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with Giffard Street. Turn left onto Giffard Street, and the Williamstown Botanic Gardens will be on your right.

  • Tram and Train

    From the city center, take Tram 96 or 109 from any nearby tram stop towards St Kilda or Port Melbourne. Get off at the stop 'Southern Cross Station'. From there, switch to a train on the Werribee Line heading towards Werribee. Ride for about 30 minutes and get off at Williamstown Station. Follow the same walking directions as mentioned above to reach the gardens.
