Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are near the St Kilda Beach area, head towards Jacka Boulevard. Walk along the beach promenade until you reach the junction with Jacka Boulevard. Continue walking along Jacka Boulevard for about 5 minutes, and you will see South Beach Reserve on your right at 26 Jacka Blvd, St Kilda VIC 3182. The walk is scenic and offers beautiful views of the beach.

    If you are further inland, you can take the tram towards St Kilda. Board tram number 96 or 16 at the nearest tram stop. Travel towards St Kilda and disembark at the stop 'Acland St / Barkly St.' From there, it's a 10-minute walk: head down Barkly Street towards the beach, then turn left on the promenade and follow it until you reach Jacka Boulevard. Turn right and walk for approximately 5 minutes to arrive at South Beach Reserve. Make sure to check the latest tram schedule to be aware of any costs, as a single ticket costs about AUD 4.50.
