    If you are driving from the town of Mornington, head southeast on Main St toward the Nepean Hwy/A720. Continue on the Nepean Hwy/A720 for about 20 km until you reach the town of San Remo. At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Phillip Island Rd/B420. Follow Phillip Island Rd for approximately 10 km, which will lead you directly to Cape Woolamai. Once you arrive in Cape Woolamai, turn left onto The Esplanade. Cape Woolamai Beach will be on your right at 82 The Esplanade.

    To reach Cape Woolamai Beach using public transport, start at Mornington Railway Station and take the bus route 788 towards Cowes. This bus will take you to San Remo, where you can switch to the 789 bus heading to Cowes. Get off at the Cape Woolamai stop. From there, it is a short walk to The Esplanade. Follow The Esplanade until you reach Cape Woolamai Beach at 82 The Esplanade.
