Car
If you are driving, head towards Flinders via Boneo Rd. From Mornington, take the Moorooduc Highway (B110) towards Hastings. Continue on B110 until you reach the intersection with Frankston-Flinders Rd (C777). Turn right onto C777 and follow the signs to Flinders. Once in Flinders, follow Flinders Ocean Beach Entry Rd. The Mushroom Reef Marine Sanctuary will be on your left. There is free parking available along the road.

To reach Mushroom Reef Marine Sanctuary via public transportation, take a bus from Mornington to Flinders. Board the 'Bus 788' which operates from Mornington to Flinders. Once you arrive at Flinders, walk towards Flinders Ocean Beach Entry Rd. The sanctuary is about a 15-minute walk from the bus stop. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance for any changes in service. The bus fare may vary, generally around AUD 4.60 for a one-way trip.

For the adventurous, cycling to Mushroom Reef Marine Sanctuary is a great option. You can follow the coastal route from Mornington to Flinders, which is scenic but may have some hilly areas.
