Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, start from the nearest major town, Mornington. Head south on Main Street, then turn left onto Nepean Highway (M11). Continue on Nepean Highway for about 10 kilometers until you reach the exit for Boneo Road. Take the exit and follow Boneo Road for approximately 6 kilometers. Turn right onto Shoreham Road and drive for about 2 kilometers. Montalto will be on your left at 33 Shoreham Rd, Red Hill South VIC 3937. Parking is available on-site.

• Public Transport

  To reach Montalto by public transport, you can take a train from Melbourne to Frankston Station, which is on the Cranbourne and Pakenham lines. From Frankston Station, catch the 788 bus towards Shoreham and get off at the Shoreham Road stop. From there, it’s about a 20-minute walk to Montalto. Alternatively, you can use rideshare services or taxi from the bus stop if you're carrying heavy bags or prefer not to walk.

• Bicycle

  For the more adventurous, biking is a great way to explore the scenic routes of the Mornington Peninsula. From Mornington, take the Peninsula Link Trail, heading south, which eventually connects to local roads. Follow the signs towards Red Hill South and Shoreham Road. The cycling distance is approximately 15 kilometers, and it will take around an hour depending on your pace. Ensure to wear a helmet and follow cycling regulations.
