The OT Dam, located in Arthurs Seat State Park near Dromana, Victoria, offers a peaceful retreat into nature and a glimpse into local history. Constructed in 1934 by the OT Cordial Company (later known as Kia Ora Cordials), the dam was originally built to supply water for the company's crops. Local workers used horse-drawn scoops to build the dam's wall. The company produced a cordial called OT, flavored with chilies. Due to manpower shortages during the war, the business closed in the early 1940s. The OT Dam Circuit Walk is a 3km loop that takes approximately 2 hours to complete. The trail winds through a deep gully surrounded by native eucalyptus forests. The well-maintained track includes some hills and a boardwalk that encircles the dam. The walk is considered moderately difficult. Visitors can access the OT Dam from Arthurs Seat Road near Main Creek Road. Another access point is from the Hillview Community Reserve on Boundary Road in Dromana. The circuit walk offers views of the dam and the surrounding bushland.
