From the Somers Beach Parking Area (corner of Belvedere Road and Miramar Road), take the wooden staircase down to Somers Beach. Head east along the beach towards Sandy Point. The walk from the stairs to the beginning of Sandy Point is approximately 1.5km. Continue along the beach to explore Sandy Point. Be aware of the tide and allow enough time to return.

Take bus route 782 to the Sandy Point Rd/South Beach Rd stop in Somers. From there, it's approximately a 20-minute walk to the Somers Beach Parking Area via South Beach Road and Miramar Road. Follow the walking directions to access Sandy Point. A one-way bus fare typically costs around $5.
