Car
From the visitor center in Mount Field National Park, head south on Lake Rd towards National Park Rd. Continue for about 5.5 km until you reach the junction with the Gordon River Rd. Turn left onto Gordon River Rd and continue for approximately 10 km. You will reach the town of Maydena. Once in Maydena, follow the signs to Junee Caves, which is located just a few kilometers from the town center. Look for the entrance on your left; parking is available on-site.
Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, you will first need to take a bus from Hobart to the town of Maydena. Buses run a few times a day, so check the schedule in advance. Once you arrive in Maydena, you can either walk or take a taxi to Junee Caves, which is about a 5 km distance from the bus stop. Walking will take approximately 1 hour, while a taxi will be quicker but may incur additional costs.
