If you are driving to Horseshoe Falls, begin from the Mount Field National Park visitor center. Head south on Lake Fenton Road for 1.2 kilometers until you reach the intersection. Turn right onto Lake Fenton Road and continue for another 1.5 kilometers. Look for the sign indicating the Horseshoe Falls track on your left. Park in the designated parking area, which may have a small fee. From the parking area, follow the clearly marked walking track to Horseshoe Falls, which is approximately a 20-minute walk through beautiful forest scenery.

Public Transportation
To reach Horseshoe Falls using public transportation, take a bus from Hobart to Mount Field National Park. The bus service operates regularly, and you should check the schedule in advance. Once you arrive at the Mount Field National Park bus stop, you will need to walk to the visitor center, which is about a 10-minute walk. From the visitor center, follow Lake Fenton Road south for about 1.2 kilometers, then turn right onto Lake Fenton Road. Continue for another 1.5 kilometers, and look for the sign for the Horseshoe Falls track. The hike from the parking area to the falls will take around 20 minutes.

If you are already in the vicinity of Horseshoe Falls and prefer to walk, locate the Horseshoe Falls track from the main walking paths in Mount Field National Park. Starting from the visitor center, you will walk about 1.2 kilometers south on Lake Fenton Road, then turn right onto Lake Fenton Road for an additional 1.5 kilometers. The track to Horseshoe Falls is well-marked, and the walk from the parking area takes approximately 20 minutes through lush forest. Be sure to wear sturdy footwear and carry water.
