Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start at your accommodation in Ningaloo Reef. Head south on Exmouth Road for approximately 3.5 km until you reach the junction with Minilya-Exmouth Road. Turn left and continue for about 70 km until you hit the North West Coastal Highway. Merge onto the highway heading south towards Perth. After about 450 km, take the exit towards Perth and follow the signs for the city center. Once in Melbourne, navigate to Fed Square, located at the corner of Flinders Street and Swanston Street. You'll find the Koorie Heritage Trust in the Birrarung Building there. Parking is available nearby, but be aware that parking fees may apply, usually around AUD 5-10 per hour.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, you will first need to make your way to the nearest major bus or train station in Ningaloo Reef. Take a bus towards Exmouth. From Exmouth, catch a bus to Perth. Upon arriving in Perth, you can transfer to a train heading towards the city. Get off at the Flinders Street Station. The Koorie Heritage Trust is a short walk from the station; head east on Flinders Street until you reach the intersection with Swanston Street. The Trust is located in the Birrarung Building at that corner. Be sure to check local transport schedules as they can vary and plan your trip accordingly. Expect costs for the bus and train, which may total around AUD 50-80 depending on the routes and time of travel.
